Media Assistant (Dallas)

Position available for Asher Media based in Dallas (required to work 3 days/week in the office).

The Media Assistant will work with all departments in planning, buying and operations, securing and managing placements for all media and will act as a liaison between each department as well as working with media reps.  The ideal candidate would be a recent college graduate (with a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field) or have up to 2 years prior agency experience with strong attention to detail, a desire to support a team on a permanent basis, can multi-task efficiently under pressure, have a strong sense of urgency and adapt easily to shifting job tasks.

Responsibilities
Responsible for flawless execution of media plans
Monitor implementation of all media schedules (broadcast, print, out-of-home, digital/new media, etc.)
Work with Media Coordinators to clear discrepancies and meet billing deadlines

Prepare and maintain ATBs, flowcharts and deadlines charts for designated accounts
Issue traffic instructions for broadcast buys

Enter rates in Strata (Buying Software) when needed

Qualifications
Be accurate, organized, meet deadlines, communicate clearly
Responsible for timely completion of all assignments
Ability to multi-task, managing work on multiple accounts
Become familiar with basic media terms and concepts
Basic accounting knowledge
